Fuh fuh. Take 1, everyone. I’m just joking. Haha.
I don't want to waste your time as well as my time too. So, let me
share the recipe to make NASI LEMAK with all of you. So, make sure you write
down the recipe. Okay? High 5! ^_^
Jeng jeng jeng.
The ingredients that we need to have in order to make Healthy Nasi
Lemak.
Nasi Lemak:
1 cup of brown rice
1/3 coconut milk
1 cup of water
Several slice of ginger
Pinch of sea salt
Rinse the brown rice and add everything in a pot. Soak it for 5-10
minutes then cook until rice is fluffy. Do borrow your mom rice cooker. Hihi.
Sambal Tumis:
12 dried chillis , soaked in cool water for 15 minutes , then dried
4-5 birds's eye chilli
3 medium red onions , roughly chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed and rougly chopped
Blend the above ingredients.
1 1/2 tsp Tamarind Paste
Heat about 3 tablespoons of oil and first fry the chilli paste
until separate with oil . Add tamarind and sugar, continue to cook for another
15 minutes or until the mixture turns dark red. Add a little water at this
point and cook for futher minute or two. Taste or adjust if needed.
Other Condiments:
Cucumber slices
Fried anchovy
Fried groundnut
Boiled egg
The last thing to do is arrange everything neatly on the plate and
enjoy your meal! Nyum nyum.
